Happy World Sight Day!
World Sight Day, observed annually on the second Thursday of October, is a global event meant to draw attention on blindness and vision impairment. It was originally initiated by the SightFirstCampaign of Lions Club International Foundation in 2000.
Today is #WorldSightDay, a day to bring awareness to global blindness and vision impairment! Can you believe that 1.2 Billion people do not have access to glasses or eye care?
This year Millennium Eye Center is taking the challenge to raise funds for projects that provide training, vision centers and eye care services for people who are blind or vision impaired all over the world 🌎.
